Event  2) PCP IS NOW OPEN

Details  PCP IS OPEN FOR CURRENT BILLING FOR MAY 1 THRU JUNE 11, 2016. IT IS ALSO OPEN FOR LATE BILLS AND ADJUSTMENTS FOR March 20 THRU APRIL 30, 2016.

IT WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY MORNING, June 28, 2016 TO SWEEP CLAIMS THRU MAY 28, 2016 AND LOAD CALENDARS FROM May 29 TO June 4, 2016. IT SHOULD BE AVAILABLE AGAIN BY NOON ON THE 14th.  
 
Event  BIWEEKLY SWEEP/NEW CALENDARS ADDED WEEKLY 
From  Tuesday, July 28, 2015 
To  Saturday, December 31, 2016 
Details A sweep of the billing will be done biweekly on Tuesdays. It will pick up anything billed by midnight Monday night that was not included in a prior sweep. New calendars will be added each Tuesday morning.

PCP will be closed during these processes.

Event  ANCILLARY BILLING (A or X in Cost Center)

To  Thursday, June 30, 2016 
Details  These services should not be billed by provider agencies.

Fingerprints/Background Checks should be emailed to DIDD_Business.Services@tn.gov for processing. For payment issues please see below.

Dental Claims should be sent to your regional office for processing.

Other Ancillaries should be sent to your regional office for review. They will forward them on to Central Office for billing.

Questions related to Ancillaries should be sent to your regional office.  
 
Event  PCP AND PASSWORD CRITERIA

Each user must have their own login ID (their email address) and create their own unique password. A PCP user may never share the login ID or password with anyone else.
Using assigned or shared passwords is strictly prohibited.
Changing the password back to the default password (the one given when the account is set up) is strictly prohibited.
When a password is required to be changed, a new password must be created. Using the old password or simply adding one or more numbers, letters or characters to is not allowed.
Real words are not to be used in passwords. Passwords shall not be names of persons or places; they shall not be words that can be found in a dictionary.
However, substitutions of characters for letters may be used to render a real word unrecognizable by a computer. (E.g. L1nd@ for Linda or $@lL1e for Sallie).
Passwords shall have the following characteristics:

- Must be 8-10 characters long.
- Must contain at least one number, one upper case and one lower case letter, and one special character (a character that appears above a number on a key on the keyboard).
- Must not be a password the user has previously used in PCP in the past.
- Must not be in any way associated with the name or location of the Provider or the individual¿s name.
- Must not contain sequential letters or numbers such as 123456789 or abcdefgh.
 
 
Event  ADJUSTMENTS/LATE BILLS 
From  Thursday, March 17, 2016 
To  Thursday, June 30, 2016 
Details  BILLING STAFF DESIGNATED IN PCP AS SUPERVISORS SHOULD ONLY BE THOSE INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE THE ABILITY AND RESOURCES TO GUARANTEE THAT ADJUSTMENTS AND LATE BILLS ARE ENTERED ACCURATELY AND CORRECTLY WITH COMPLETED NOTES AND VERIFICATION ON WHY THE ADJUSTMENT IS BEING ENTERED.

NOT EVERY BILLING PERSON AT AN AGENCY SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO THE ADJUSMENT/LATE BILL SCREENS. IDEALLY AN ADJUSTMENT/LATE BILL SHOULD NEVER BE CHANGED MORE THAN ONCE OR PROCESSED WITHOUT VERIFIED "EYES ON" DOCUMENTATION.

ENTERING SUBSEQUENT ADJUSTMENTS CAUSES SYSTEM ERRORS, MISMARKED CLAIMS AND DENIED CLAIMS.
